Refund policy

 

THE POSH DUCK — Return & Refund Policy In-Store & Online · Effective May 2026

All sales at The Posh Duck are final sale by default. Claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are only considered where an item materially does not match its listing or in-store representation at the time of sale, or is confirmed counterfeit by a qualified third-party authenticator. We stand behind every item we sell — and we hold every claim to the same standard.


WHAT WE ACCEPT CLAIMS FOR

A claim may be submitted only under the following circumstances. All other situations are considered final sale.

Item does not match its representation at the time of sale For online purchases, this means the listing description and photos. For in-store purchases, this means what was communicated verbally or on the tag. Must be submitted within 3 days of receipt (online) or date of purchase (in-store).

Undisclosed damage Damage must not be visible in the original listing photos (online) or have been pointed out at the time of sale (in-store). Must be submitted within 3 days of receipt or purchase.

Non-original watch movement (internal repair) Must be submitted within 10 days of receipt or purchase. Documentation from a qualified watchmaker is required.

Counterfeit / aftermarket modifications No fixed deadline applies, but written proof from a qualified third-party authenticator is required before any return is authorized. The cost of authentication is the responsibility of the customer. For handbags and leather goods, The Posh Duck partners with Entrupy and recommends this method. Items returned under a counterfeit claim may be independently re-tested by The Posh Duck to confirm the result.

Note: Claims will not be reviewed for items with a purchase price under $200. This applies to both in-store and online purchases.


WHAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT CLAIMS FOR

All sales are final. Exceptions are made only in the specific circumstances outlined above. The following situations are not eligible for consideration under any circumstances:

  • Visible defects shown in listing photos or pointed out at the time of in-store sale
  • Size or dimensions clearly stated in the listing or on the tag
  • Odor consistent with the nature of a pre-owned item
  • Dust, dirt, or easily removable surface substances
  • Price differences between the purchase price and current market value
  • Claims submitted after the applicable deadline
  • Multiple separate claims for the same item — all issues must be reported in a single submission
  • Repair or alteration costs not pre-approved in writing by The Posh Duck
  • Items purchased for under $200
  • Items returned without prior written approval from The Posh Duck

HOW TO SUBMIT A CLAIM

All claims must be submitted through one of the following channels:

When submitting, please include your receipt or order number, a clear description of the issue, and supporting photos where applicable.

All issues with an item must be reported in a single submission. We do not accept follow-up claims for the same item. Once received, our team will review your claim and respond with a decision. If approved, you will receive written authorization to proceed with a return. Do not return any item without prior written approval — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.


RETURN PROCESS

Once a return has been authorized by The Posh Duck, the following applies:

  1. Return Within 7 Days of Approval You have 7 days from the date of written approval to return the item. Online customers will receive a prepaid return shipping label and must ship within the 7-day window. In-store customers must bring the item back within 7 days of approval.

  2. Late Returns If the item is not returned within 7 days, the return is considered canceled and no refund will be issued. Items returned late will be sent back at the customer's expense. If return shipping costs are not paid within 30 days of our notification, The Posh Duck reserves the right to retain the item without issuing a refund.

  3. Refund Issued Once the item is received and reassessed by our team, a refund will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit — customer's choice.
