But the story really starts with our Queen Duck (also known as our owner)—a lifelong treasure hunter who grew up thrifting and reselling with her mom. Consignment has always been in her blood. After 15 years as an RN in the hospital world, she decided to follow her second calling: luxury resale. She traded scrubs for Chanel and opened The Posh Duck as a space where designer pieces—and people—could find their next chapter.

In 2025, we rebranded to reflect our true feathers—lovers of character, charm, and all things patina. While trends come and go, we believe style is timeless, and there’s magic in pieces with a story to tell.
